The Regions Tradition is a professional golf championship on the Champions Tour for players aged 50 and over. It was first played in 1989 and is traditionally held at the Greystone Golf & Country Club in Birmingham, Alabama from 09-12 May 2024.  The tournament is one of five major championships on the Champions Tour and features a purse of $2,600,000.

 
The format of the Regions Tradition is four rounds of stroke play with no cut. The winner is the player who has the lowest cumulative score at the end of the tournament. The tournament has a rich history of champions, including Hale Irwin, Bernhard Langer, Tom Lehman, and Fred Couples among others.

In 2022, Steve Stricker accomplished a remarkable feat by winning the event for the second time with a 6-stroke margin, just as he had done in 2019. Stricker is currently the reigning champion. 

In addition to the golf tournament, the Regions Tradition also includes several events and activities for fans, including a Pro-Am tournament, a women's clinic, and a Kids Zone. The tournament also has a charitable aspect, with proceeds benefiting local nonprofit organizations in the Birmingham area.
