From 5-8 June 2025
The 2025 RBC Canadian Open is a professional golf event that is jointly organized by the PGA Tour and Golf Canada. It will take place at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley from June 5–8, 2025. After the US Open and the Open Championship, it is the third-oldest running event on the PGA Tour.
Some have considered the famous event an unofficial major for much of its history. It has been part of a golfing Triple Crown two times: Lee Trevino in 1971 and Tiger Woods in 2000, winning the Canadian Open, US Open, and Open Championship all in the same season.
In 2009, Mark Calcavecchia broke the record for most consecutive holes with a birdie, adding to its significance on the PGA Tour.
Rory McIlroy successfully defended his 2019 championship in 2022, winning by two strokes over his nearest competitor, Tony Finau.
