The third major golf event on the LPGA Tour schedule is the Women's PGA Championship 2025, which will take place from June 19–22, 2025, at Fields Ranch East at PGA Frisco. In 1955, the first edition took place at Orchard Ridge Country Club in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and since then, it has been played at various famous courses across the United States. It is played annually in the last week of June.

It is a major and one of the most renowned tournaments in the sport, drawing the best golfers in the world to perform in an exhilarating exhibition of elite golf.

In 2005, Michelle Wie created a landmark moment during the competition when she competed as an amateur at 15 years of age, securing the runner-up position following Annika Sorenstam. Gee Chun is the reigning winner, having won by a single shot over Lexi Thompson.
