From 2-5 July 2026
The PGA Tour 2026 professional golf event, the John Deere Classic, will take place from 2-5 July 2026 at TPC Deere Run, Silvis. It debuted in 1971 under the name of the Quad Cities Open, and in 1972 it was officially part of the PGA Tour schedule. The tournament shifted between different courses in Iowa and Illinois. The TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois, has hosted the event annually since 2000. Jordan Spieth made history in 2013 at the John Deere Classic by becoming the youngest person to triumph on the PGA Tour since 1931.
The competition will take place before the one week of The Open and plays a key role in offering players a final opportunity to secure a spot in a major event. On Sunday evening the sponsors arranged the chartered flight to Britain for the players so they can put their all into their performance.
JT Poston won the 2022 competition by three strokes over the closest competitor, Emiliano Grillo.
