The 2025 Australian PGA Championship is a men’s golf event also called the Australian Professional Championship. In 1929, it became an official event, and since 1904, the tournament has been played as part of the annual Australian Golf Union meeting.

It has taken place in the Southeast Queensland region annually since 2000 and has been supported by the DP World Tour since 2015, expanding its global popularity.

The winner takes home the historic Kirkwood Cup, which has been awarded to the best professional golfer in Australia for over a century.

The defending champion is Elvis Smylie, who won the 2024 tournament with a historic performance, leading the field by 2 strokes at 14 under.
