PGA Tour's Calendar 2023
The PGA Tour's calendar for 2022-23 will have 47 tournaments with record prize money and smaller fields for the FedEx Cup playoffs. The adjustments also allow for a calendar-year schedule to be implemented in 2024.
The season began in mid-September, with nine official FedEx Cup tournaments taking place throughout the fall. In January, play will continue with six higher-level tournaments and two playoffs, including the FedEx St. Jude Championship and the BMW Championship. The PGA Tour has given more importance to the regular-season tournaments, reducing the number of FedEx Cup qualifiers from 125 to 70. The purses for the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Players Championship, and Memorial Tournament will increase this season.
The PGA Tour 2023 season includes major tournaments including The Masters at Augusta National Golf Club (April 6-9), the PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York (May 18-21), the U.S. Open at Los Angeles Country Club (June 15-18), and the British Open at Royal Liverpool in Hoylake, England (July 20-23). The FedEx Cup winner will be announced following the Tour Championship, which will be held at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta from September 21–27, 2023.
